VDS Fitness is a mobile personal training company. The foundation of VDS Fitness is to help each individual Visualise their fitness goals and help them to keep their Determination going through days where they lack motivation to exercise. In turn this will help them achieve Success and maintain healthier long term goals for life!

VDS Fitness, with Well for Life, now offer a personal training service to cater to the specific needs of each client.


Location
We will travel within a 10km radius from the Well for Life premises in Ponsonby. These areas include Remuera, central Auckland, Waitakere and the Northcote area on the North Shore.


Times of training
Available hours are between:

  • 7am to 7pm Monday and Tuesday.

  • 7am to 4pm Fridays


12 Week Program
Our program helps kick start your health and fitness goals and to track your progress during the 12 weeks.

  • A 30 minute initial assessment (goal setting, training program, food diary)

  • A follow up 30 minute assessment at the 4th and 8th weeks.

  • A final 30 minute assessment at week 12.

  • 12 x 1 hour training sessions with a personal trainer (1 per week)


Individual 1 hour personal training sessions are also available.

Initial Assessment

Goal setting
Nutrition guidelines (food diary)
Biometrics (blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, body fat, waist hip ratio).
Health questionnaire


Training Program

Once we have established your health and fitness goals a training program based on body weight exercises and aerobic activity is devised.

Nutrition – Food Diary

Research has shown that you are more likely to reach weight loss goals if you write down what you are eating and drinking.


Exercise – Training Diary

You will be asked to keep a training log to record your completed training each week. Training logs can be e-mailed weekly or discussed during the next training session.

Your program will be modified every 4-6 weeks as you increase strength and fitness.
